Having a good horse is an important thing in a young rodeoer's life. Finding a good horse is a hard thing to do. You want to find the best horse for your kid, but it can be kind of pricey. Choosing a good horse can take a long time to do, you will look just about everywhere before you find the one that you want. Sometimes people buy a horse that the person that they bought it from said was good, but it was really crazy. In making a decision on a horse you first want to try it out to make sure that they aint lying about what the horse is really trained to do. So when choosing a horse for your youngin make sure you are getting a good horse and not something that will hurt your kid.

2- A good saddle will get em ridin

Having a good saddle is an important part of rodeo, having a good saddle is almost as important as a good horse. Finding a good saddle is not that hard it is pretty easy as long as you find one that fits you and the way you ride.

1 - These boots are made for roping

Trying to decide what kind of cowboy boots you want can be tough. You want them to be comfortable but you want them to stand up to what ever they have to go through. There are millions of different cowboy boots, but when most people find a kind they like they usually stick with it. Personally I like Laredo boots but thats just my opinion.

2 - Success is in your jeans

In choosing the right pair of blue jeans you have to find a pair that fit you good and that you are comfortable wearing. I believe that wrangler has the best jeans for western style. They are just right for riding horses or just everyday life. They are comfortable but if you have never wore them you have to get used to them because they are kind of tight. As soon as you get used to them they will almost be the only thing you will ever wear, thats how it was for me.

3 - Dont get thrown in the wrong shirt.

There are all kinds of different cowboy shirts. My favorite is 20x which is made by wrangler. They are comfortable and they can stand up to just about anything. They are good for rodeoing or just wearing anywhere. You have to have them for rodeo and they will keep you warm during the winter when you are out checking cows. The reason it is so hard to find somebody at a rodeo is because everybody there is wearing a plaid shirt. I love the plaid shirts but I like the solid colored shirts to.

4- Look good when you hit the ground.

Finding a cowboy hat can be difficult because you want to find one that fits just right. There are probably a million different cowboy hats, but there is only one that fits you the way you want it to. I personally like the straw hats that they sell at tractor supply. There are a bunch of ones that I really like that are really expensive, but I can't afford them. Stetson makes a really nice cowboy hat but they are kind of pricey, but they are well worth the money. They keep your head warm and they want get messed up.

I used want to bull ride because it looked like it was pretty fun. I kinda still want to do it but I don't know when I will get a chance. It is probably the most exciting thing to do in rodeo, but it is probably the most dangerous thing in rodeo too. The thing about rodeo is taking risks and putting your life on the line but when you love it there aint nuthin like it.

Some people say that these kind of sports are only for idiots, but thats just mainly because they are scared. It is really a lot of fun, but dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Bull riding has killed many men but that is how a lot of people want to go, doing the thing they love.




Being brave

Not just anybody can ride a bull you have to have experience. A lot of people say they want to ride bulls and tell everybody they ride bulls, but they really just want you to think they are cool. Most of the people that say they are going to ride bulls usually choke in the shoot.

The Fun You Can Have With a Bronc!

Lately I have been riding broncos it is almost as fun as roping. It gives you such a rush and It is so fun. If you can ride broncos you can ride anything. I have started riding with the Georgia High School Rodeo Association. I am always going somewhere just about every weekend. It is What I love. This is a very dangerous thing to do but it is so much fun and it is what I do. Riding broncos is not for everybody it is just a thing for the people that live on the edge and do not mind risking their lives for a little bit of fun. Bucking Broncs are dangerous animals but they don't know anything but to get the person that is on their back off of them.

Living On The Edge!

If you want to do something fun and exhilarating bucking broncs is the way to go. It is very fun and it will get people to recognize you. People say that it is dangerous, but the people that say that are really just scared. It will get people to recognize you because they will think that you are tough because not just anybody climb on somethings back that can kill you.

You got to be brave.

If you are going to ride these crazy animals you have to be brave. Not just any one can jump on a broncs back. You have to have some experience and it is not as easy as it looks. It is very difficult but once you do it and you figure out how to control yourself when you are in the air it is very fun. Some people say it is a crazy thing to do, but it is just so much fun to me.

I love roping it is very fun and it keeps you out of trouble but it can also get you hurt if you are not careful and know what you’re doing. I have been doing it for a while now and it just keeps getting better and better. It really gets your adrenalin rushing.

Roping Keeps you Out of Trouble!

It keeps you busy and you can do it almost every day if you find somewhere to go roping. When you are roping you are staying out of trouble. Instead of going out drinking with your friends on Friday night you can be at the rope pen having fun with your buddies and not getting into trouble.

So if you’re looking for a hobby I would say that roping is a good one to get into.




There are all kinds of roping and I love to do just about any kind of roping, and I love to rodeo on the weekend. I love to go all over the state to all kinds of ropings. I want to go professional one day and I cant wait. I wouldn't want to do anything else because this is what I love.

My favorite roping: Team Roping

Team roping is my favorite over all. It is the funnest I think. I would rather be roping than doing anything else because it is what I love. I have started training my paint horse to be a calf roping horse because it is also very fun.

Calf roping is probably the funnest roping of all. It is fun because you aint got to worry about a partner messing up your score, and if you mess up you don't got nobody to blame but yourself. It requires a lot more effort than regular roping because you have to do more physical work to do it.
